"Daily Skies" is an ongoing series of paintings, drawings or photographs of the sky, started in August 2005. Each year the work is presented in a different configuration.
Since 2019 I have been using my phone, shooting the sky each day at noon, facing North.
In 2025 I take a photo of the sky each day, draw a white circle on the image and post it on Instagram @dailysky2025. In addition I make circlular paintings of select days.
In 2024 I took a short video of the sky each day and posted it on a dedicated account on Instagram: @dailysky2024.
In 2023 I took a photograph of the sky each day at noon and drew a line through the image, indicating the day was done and posted it that night on Instagram @dailysky2023.
In 2022 I added the word 'Today,' to the photograph, an homage to On Kawara and a reminder to "seize the day." I posted the images @dailysky2022
