Knox Gallery

I am pleased to have my work included in
“Common Threads” group exhibition at the Knox Gallery
Through January 21, 2023
Monterey Library
452 Main Rd, Monterey, MA 01245
http://www.montereymasslibrary.org/
"Daily Sky: January 13, 2018," the work on exhibit at the Knox Gallery, is from the January 2018 series which consists of paintings on paper, combined with collaged material. In this piece Stillman wove pieces of a digital print of the weather map from the New York Times into her painting of the sky. This relates to the show’s theme "Common Threads" in that the weather is an integral part of our experience of each day, a common thread for us all.

I’m pleased to have my drawing included in the show “Small Works: Largeness Writ Small,” curated by Buzz Spector at the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum along with some terrific artists.
For this exhibition of small works, juror Buzz Spector selected works that explore how medium and technique impact the perception of scale. “Largeness Writ Small” proves that even the grandest ideas can be portrayed in small format.

Panel of artists at Horasis meeting

I am honored to be invited to speak about my work and climate change at the Horases USA meeting on Friday, March 4.
The Arts – Empowering via Visualizations of Climate Change
Artists realize graphics of climate change events, creating a more accessible understanding of evolving ecologies. Will philanthropists be empowered by the Arts and their visualizations to entice further public awareness? How can artists better show their ecological images are relevant to governments and businesses reluctant to leave fossil fuels?
• Michele Brody, Artist, USA
• Kathy Bruce, Artist, USA
• Susan Hoenig, Artist, USA
• Fern Shaffer, Artist, USA
• Linda Stillman, Artist, USA
Chaired by
• Emily Wilkerson, Writer and Curator, USA
